Privacy and disclosures

The short version

We collect your email address if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, and nothing else. We don't run ads that track you, we don't sell data, and every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe.

What we collect and why

Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address (and a name if you give one) to send you the editions you asked for. Subscription is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm by email. Unsubscribing removes you from sends immediately and you can do it from any email in one click.

Website: we don't set tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Who processes your data

Our newsletter runs on self-hosted software on our own server in the UK. Emails are delivered via Brevo (SMTP provider). The website and email routing are served via Cloudflare. We don't share subscriber data with anyone else.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links in our reviews and buying guides may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This never affects what we recommend: our buying guides aggregate findings from independent reviewers and we link every source. Sponsored content, when we run it, is always clearly labelled.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and a human will sort it.
