Google quietly pushed Gemini 3.5 Pro back

Google reportedly delayed the wider release of Gemini 3.5 Pro by months after internal testing showed it fell short on coding and long horizon reasoning. In the same window, a Chinese lab put out one of the largest open frontier models yet.
